LAKE PLACID, N.Y. -- A North Country family is asking for help raising money for childhood cancer research after dealing with their own battle. Karson Hall, who is in 8th grade, has been diagnosed with neuroblastoma several times throughout his life. He's been in remission for four years now. His family is stepping up to do their part to find a cure. Karson's mom, Holly LaBombard, started the nonprofit Hope For Miracles which is hosting its annual gala on Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Great Adirondack Hotel in Lake Placid. The organization donates 10% of money raised to UVM Children's Hospital and the rest to fund childhood cancer research. Click here to purchase tickets to the event.
