YOU have the power to help us find a cure. https://donorbox.org/givingtuesday-29 Other nonprofits we are thankful for ~ Make-A-Wish Northeast New York When Karson was going through radiation and chemotherapy treatments, day to day for him was really hard. He was sick, losing his hair, away from family and friends… It was extremely tough for him, and it was really hard to watch his spirits just plummet. I will always remember the day that he was told he was going to be able to make a wish… It’s all he talked about every day, for days and weeks. It gave him something to look forward to. His whole outlook changed. And the day it was granted; priceless. We are so very thankful to Make a Wish for all that they have done for Karson, and all that they do for sick children. We will be at the Make-a-Wish table at Champlain Centres tomorrow, Tuesday, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. We hope to see you there.  It’s Day 6 of our #givingtuesday2022 campaign. This amazing facility is our closest children’s specialty hospital. We are so thankful for the expert care and love they gave to Karson; and the whole family. Karson’s team here will ALWAYS be family. Thank you for all that you do for sick children and families. You go above and beyond ~ every day. You are heroes. Hope for Miracles’ Board of Directors honoring Karson. Thanks to Damian Battinelli for capturing this moment. Karson had his follow up appointment with his Oncologist today in Burlington. We love her so very much and as strange as this will sound, we actually look forward to these appointments. She’s like a member of the family that we don’t get to see very often.
At this point in Karson’s scans, we would normally go from having the MRI’s every 6 months to every 12 months… I have been worried about this change as it’s such a large span of time without being checked; without answers. She completely understood, and agreed to keep having them every 6 months for at least another year. We were also blessed with time with friends today in Burlington. Karson’s best friend also had an appointment at the children’s hospital - and with the same doctor… What are the chances? Karson was happy to have someone other than his Mom to jump with!
