follow up appointment

​Karson had his follow up appointment with his Oncologist today in Burlington. We love her so very much and as strange as this will sound, we actually look forward to these appointments. She’s like a member of the family that we don’t get to see very often.
At this point in Karson’s scans, we would normally go from having the MRI’s every 6 months to every 12 months… I have been worried about this change as it’s such a large span of time without being checked; without answers. She completely understood, and agreed to keep having them every 6 months for at least another year.
We were also blessed with time with friends today in Burlington. Karson’s best friend also had an appointment at the children’s hospital - and with the same doctor… What are the chances? Karson was happy to have someone other than his Mom to jump with!
