Jon Gordon, one of my favorite motivational speakers, suggests the one word challenge in place of a New Year’s Resolution; where you live the word that you’ve chosen, throughout all aspects of your life all through the year. I don’t know about you, but I can never stick to a new year’s resolution, so this seems like a better option for me.
I know it sounds a bit odd, but the word is supposed to come to you. I REALLY wanted my word to be hope… hope for miracles, hope for a cure, just hope… But when I closed my eyes and asked God if hope was to be my word this year, heal was the word that I heard in my mind. I think He knew that I already had hope, but heal… there is so much that heal can encompass. It doesn’t have to mean healing for my family or myself, but healing for others. Some definitions of heal are: to make better; to make whole; cure; treat; restore; to become sound, or healthy again – this is exactly what Hope for Miracles, Inc. is all about and was formed to do – bring healing. To every thing there is a season – Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. 2019 will be a time to heal. We wish you all the best of health and happiness in the year 2019!

I should be impressed & inspired by what the Hull Family has accomplished in such a short time, but it comes as no surprise to me. I’ve known these awesome folks for over a decade & they are some of the most hardworking, determined, & honest people I have been blessed to know. With my dear friend, Holly, at the helm, there’s no destination this ship of hope can’t reach! Once she sets her course, there is nothing that will deter her!
