word of the year

​Word of the Year ~ 2024 will be our 6th year in existence! Over these last 5 years, Karson has chosen each and every word; and he does it in the blink of an eye. He always amazes me. As I am sitting here, I remind Karson that we need to think on our word for this year. Immediately he says, “We haven’t used perseverance have we?”. And as always, it is fitting.This year we are going to Persevere…  We will persevere in raising much needed funding for childhood cancer research despite difficulties, obstacles or delays. We will finish what we’ve started, even when at times, it seems insurmountable.
The word perseverance, it reminds me of one of my favorite Bible verses ~ “Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” ~ James 1:4
Let 2024 be the year we all persevere, in whatever area of our lives that may apply. Wishing you and yours all the best of health and happiness in 2024 and beyond. 🎗️💛🙏
